Page Counters
Page counters allow you to keep track of the number of users who have accessed your pages. You can have counter on any or all of your pages; you can count accesses per page, or you can group pages together on a common counter. Counters can be set to display in a number of different formats, and can even be hidden. In the case of visible counters, you can view your own pages to see how many times they have been accessed (but bear in mind that you yourself count); alternatively, you can view a summary which is only available to you.

Secret Pages
You can arrange that parts of your web site are only accessible to particular people. Such parts to protected by user names and passwords, which you are free to create, modify and delete. You can then give these to anyone who you would like to allow access to.
Note that secret pages cannot be used if you have the MicroSoft Frontpage extensions installed on your website.

FrontPage Extensions
The AIS Web Server has support for the MicroSoft FrontPage server extensions. Using MicroSoft FrontPage98, this allows you to easily provide features such as web site searching, or simple forms to eMail requests, and such like, to yourself. Please note that the FrontPage extensions are not automatically installed on all AIS web sites; please contact AIS for details.

Grouped eMail
Only from AIS (as far as we know!)
Via the AIS server, you can download selected eMail to different machines, without the need for special client software. For instance, you could arrange that your home machine downloads eMail for the family, while your work machine downloads all other eMail.

Web Access to eMail
This facility allows you to access your eMail via a web browser from anywhere on the internet, be it your office computer or a CyberCafe in Katmandu. You will need to know your AIS login and password (possibly the long random one!). The login should be prefixed with postmaster@ (for example, postmaster@somewhere.a-i-s.co.uk).
